Children's Day celebrates and promotes the rights of children and their general welfare. It has been a tradition for me since I grew up in Colombia to celebrate this day. A tradition that I have passed to my son and now he looks forward to the celebration. Día del Niño is a day devoted to fraternity and understanding among the world's children and dedicated to activities for the promotion of the welfare and rights of children in the world. The kids are the future. We need to teach our kids respect and also we need to show them how to take care of their bodies and eat healthy. This year, I am teaching my son how to make an easy recipe that can be used as a Easter treat as well. It does require the use of an stove, so I suggest you help little kids with the cooking. The important thing when cooking with kids is to spend quality time with them and teach them some basic skills. They will learn more when they are older.
