Casual Fresh Fast Food: Farmer Boys

When it comes to eating out, I am always looking for places that offer quality food. We try to avoid fast food as much as we can. While on a road trip with my best friend, we needed to feed our teenagers. 

Eating 4 teenagers with different taste for meals and that actually eat a lot is hard. We wanted a place with generous portions and fresh, wholesome food, cooked to order. 

I have seen the Farmer Boys signs before while visiting my friend in Orange County but never had the time to stop and eat there. I am so glad my friend recommended this place. Although they are what you can call a chain restaurant, their motto is to serve a farm fresh menu. I can tell you they over delivered in quality, flavor and service. 

The restaurant concept

Farmer Boys is a family-friendly restaurant with a casual concept. You order at the register, pay and then your food is  brought to the table. You just go an seat in one of the very comfortable booths or tables. I really liked the restaurant decor and especially the cleanliness.

The food

Farmer Boys is  known for its award-winning burgers, but their menu is extensive. They even serve breakfast all day.

Besides the breakfast choices you can choose from burgers, salads, sandwiches, wraps, and even fish and fries.
They also offer different sides: fries, onion rings, fried zucchini, or fruit. There are also vegetarian options in the menu and they are very accommodating. They can even make your burger protein style if you are following a Keto diet.

The new item on the menu is so delicious. It is the Smokehouse Bacon Cheeseburger. The bacon on this burger is so delicious. The meat is tender and juicy. The cheese is melted to perfection between your meat and bread to guarantee that you get cheese on every bite. 

We all enjoyed the food so much. My son keeps asking me when are we going back because his fish and fries combo was really good. Hey, if you visit, make sure to get a shake for dessert!
