CARS 3 opens in theaters everywhere on June 16th!One of our favorite movies is back in theaters. Being a boy mom forced me to learn the names of all the characters and play race cars with them. The franchise has been part of our family for years and it was time for another movie. We had high expectations as Cars 2 and Planes were not a hit with us, and we were really looking forward for another quality movie such as the first one. About the movieBlindsided by a new generation of blazing-fast racers, the legendary Lightning McQueen (voice of Owen Wilson) is suddenly pushed out of the sport he loves. To get back in the game, he will need the help of an eager young race technician, Cruz Ramirez (voice of Cristela Alonzo), with her own plan to win, plus inspiration from the late Fabulous Hudson Hornet and a few unexpected turns. Proving that #95 isn’t through yet will test the heart of a champion on Piston Cup Racing’s biggest stage Watch a trailerDid we like it?We loved it. I am usually hesitant when sequels come to the theaters. I was not a huge fan of Cars 2. There, I said it. Cars 2 was an ok movie for me. Cars 3 however, it is probably the best of the three. The story line was really good, The new characters are funny and bring a refreshing air. Although old favorites such as Matter make an appearance, they new characters give a new perspective to the series. As a Latina, I loved the inclusion of Latino characters and even a little Spanish here and there. But the best part is the message of being humble and believing in yourself. Pixar did a great job putting the message in a way that is easy for kids to understand. It does not have any scary parts, so I think kids of all ages would enjoy watching the movie, and parents do not have to worry about language or content. Music is also great, cannot wait to download the sound track. Like CARS on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/PixarCars/
