CAPTAIN MARVEL arrives in theaters everywhere on March 8th! There are many reasons to be excited about Captain Marvel coming to the screen today. One of them is that this is Marvel’s first woman-led movie, and everyone has been talking about it for months. The second reason is because we were all hoping for some answers about what could happen on the next Avengers movie, right? About the movieSet in the 1990s, Marvel Studios’ “Captain Marvel” is an all-new adventure from a previously unseen period in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe that follows the journey of Carol Danvers as she becomes one of the universe’s most powerful heroes. While a galactic war between two alien races reaches Earth, Danvers finds herself and a small cadre of allies at the center of the maelstrom. Watch a trailerDid we like it?We did. I am bias, because I am a geek and I love all Marvel things. My son, however is more like a movie critic. He had been reading things about the movie and went to the theater with some skepticism. At the end of the movie he said: "it is really good". So yes, we liked the movie. Here it is what you need to keep in mind: The movie is an action movie and there would be violence. So be mindful of that when taking little ones. If you have seen other Marvel movies, you know there would be some cursing and grown-up jokes. Although the movie is long (two hours), it does not feel like it. I really did not want to leave the theater. Also just as a reminder, stay until the end. There would be after credit scenes you don't want to miss!
