Brunching with HornBlower Cruises

​What a better way to celebrate Mother’s Day that with brunch on a Hornblower Cruise? A couple of friends and I decided to spend our Saturday before Mother’s Day relaxing in the waters of Newport Harbor.

​We arrived at the Hornblower dock, we checked it and then the staff took a keepsake photo of us. Just as we boarded the boat, we were handed a glass of champagne and they walked us to our private table by the window with an awesome view of the water.

Once you are seated, they keep bringing in the champagne. If you want mimosas, they have orange juice for you. It is time to take a cruise for two hours listening to relaxing jazz music, delicious food and amazing ocean views. The brunch is so good, there is a little bit of everything.

Imagine a few tables one with salads, breads, and fruit. Then they had another one with a carving station, offering succulent turkey and trip tip. Off course there was another table with seafood (shrimp and smoked-salmon), and we cannot forget about the richly decadent dessert table with, bread pudding, mousse, truffles, parfaits, and even chocolate covered strawberries. 

Bring your appetite because as you can see there is a large selection in the buffet. Keep your eyes open because you might be able to see some sea life while you dine. 

I truly recommend you going to the upper deck, enjoy a drink in the comfortable couches and just be mesmerized by the views of the harbor.
