I was so happy when I was invited by Warner Bros Pictures to the blogger event for the movie Blended. I was sad that I was not going to be able to attend, however the awesome My Life is a Journey's contributor Janay (@makeupvien on Instagram), was able to cover the event.
The event started with a screening of the movie at TCL Chinese 6 Theaters with some popcorn. Janay tells us that she thinks the movie is cute. It is a family movie for all ages. The movie has a great message about parenting skills and how to move on with life. The movie has it's funny parts too. Janay didn't get a tear jerker response like others in the audience, but she says that it takes a little more for her to cry. (I would have been probably on tears!). It is a good comedy movie.
After the screening all the bloggers went to the Loews Hollywood Hotel where they we spoiled with a yummy lunch and then they were pampered and they had the opportunity to get their hair braided (courtesy of No. 4 hair products and Flower Beauty, Drew's Berrymore cosmetic line, available at Walmart)

Once everyone was looking event more beautiful that they already are, it was time for the Junket Q&A with Adam Sandler and Drew Berrymore.
The actors were really nice to everyone and answered some questions that I know both you and I probably wanted to know. Here is is recap:
Q&A with Adam Sandler and Drew Berrymore
Question: Why make another movie together? Answer: 2 years ago Drew and Adam decided to work together on something. About 2 weeks after agreeing to work together theBlended script came up. Drew said she wanted something that would make her laugh and make her cry. She loved that this story was about kids and felt that it was perfect for them.
Question: As parents what has changed in the films you do? Answer: Adam has done a few R Rated films since having had kids but he felt a little guilty about it. Adam did this movie and his kids loved it, although some of the jokes they didn’t get. He felt that this filmed portrayed a respect for parenting and putting your kids first. In one scene it was revealed that Adam’s character had passed away from cancer and that this movie showed that yes it is hard to talk about moving on with life. Adam’s character had 3 daughters and it was Drew’s character that made them feel special.
Drew said that one of the things she liked in the movie was when they were having date night and Adam’s character turns to her and says you’re a good mom and then she says you’re a good mom too.
Question: Were you pregnant while taping this movie? Answer: Only towards the end.
Question: What’s the most emotional part of the movie? Answer: There was a scene where Drew was laying in bed with the youngest girl and she sang Over the Rainbow to her. Also when Drew turned to the middle child saying Your Mom had a good time. (The middle child copes with the passing of her mom by imagining she is really there, she talks to her, saves her a seat, and all the other characters pretend the mother isn’t dead and is still there too)
Question: Will you make another movie together? Answer: Jokingly they said maybe in the next 6-10 years
Question: How do you approach a project? As an actor or as a producer? Answer: Adam said he approaches them as an Actor 1st. Drew said that it depends on how it was written. Also if she received the script from an agency then she approaches it as an Actor.
Question: Which film resonates with the fans the most? Answer: Adam said The Wedding Singer Drew said people just come up to her with a deep voice and point and then say WEDDING SINGER. Sometimes she gets fans that tell her 51st Dates was their favorite film.
Off course after the Q&A there was some time to take pictures with the actors and have a little bit of fun. There were selfies, pictures with silly and funny faces and formal pictures too. Here is a picture of all the great bloggers that attended the event.
