Black Panther in theaters today February 16, 2018!I was so excited a couple of weeks ago when I got invited to watch a screening for Black Panther. I usually take my son, but this time around I went on a movie date with my husband. He is a Marvel fun and I knew he was really going to enjoy watching the movie. About the movieMarvel Studios’ “Black Panther” follows T’Challa who, after the death of his father, the King of Wakanda, returns home to the isolated, technologically advanced African nation to succeed to the throne and take his rightful place as king. But when a powerful old enemy reappears, T’Challa’s mettle as king—and Black Panther—is tested when he is drawn into a formidable conflict that puts the fate of Wakanda and the 1-24-18 entire world at risk. Faced with treachery and danger, the young king must rally his allies and release the full power of Black Panther to defeat his foes and secure the safety of his people and their way of life. “Black Panther” stars Chadwick Boseman, Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Martin Freeman, Daniel Kaluuya, Letitia Wright, Winston Duke, with Angela Bassett, with Forest Whitaker, and Andy Serkis. The film is directed by Ryan Coogler and produced by Kevin Feige with Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Nate Moore, Jeffrey Chernov and Stan Lee serving as executive producers. Ryan Coogler & Joe Robert Cole wrote the screenplay. Marvel Studios’ “Black Panther” hits U.S. theaters on February 16, 2018. Watch a trailerDid we like it?Yes we did, It is as expected from a Marvel movie an action packed film. It tells very well the story of Black Panther and helps those that never followed the comics the beginnings of the iconic Marvel hero. The acting is good, the music is fantastic and the wardrobe is outstanding. My husband is hard to please with movies and he actually liked it a lot. Is it for kids? If you have seen other Marvel movies you know what to expect in terms of language and violence. I would say older kids might understand it better, but you know your kids better, so if you feel comfortable, then take them to see it. I cannot wait for the second Black Panther movie, because you know there is going to be one. Oh and do not forget to stay until the end of the credits.... I have to say I did not want to see the movie, but now I think I will go to theaters. It is hard with Marvel movies because sometimes they are different from the comic books
