Visiting SeaWorld is a yearly thing for us. We have committed to make at least one trip a year because we love the park and we love to support the rescue efforts they do every single day.
My son and I are grateful for the awesome staff at SeaWorld that provided us passes to enter the park. We bought the interaction a couple of months ago. It has been a dream of us to be able to touch and interact with the whales since we can remember. Actually is was on my list of 50 things I want to do before turning 50, so cheers to that list getting shorter each day.
SeaWorld is one of only six facilities in the world to host beluga whales, and through the Beluga Interaction Program ,I was able get in the water with these awesome animals.
First you check in with a SeaWorld team member. They take you behind the scenes to a locker/bathroom where you change into a SeaWorld wet suit. After that they take you to the pool where the whales are at.
You walk down some stairs and get in the water. The water covers you waist deep. The water was about 55 degrees, but the custom-fit wet suit does not let you freeze. The whales are very docile and playful and they love when you feed them. You learn to interact with the whales and work with them on some behaviors such as spun in place, float on their backs to be rubbed, the love to give kisses, wave, and make noises, depending on the hand signal you give them. Tips to make your experience better
For more information visit SeaWorld Beluga Interaction Program . Remember that park admission is not included on the price, so you need to buy those separate.
Have you ever been in the water with a Beluga Whale? Would you like to be?

Super cool. I have always wanted to do something like this. Will see if we can take a vacation to San Diego soon and will book it.
