Backyard Style BBQ Party at Knott's Berry Farms

We love roller coasters and that is one of the main reasons we visit Knott's Berry Farm, however, lately, we have been going just for the food, people watching, and off course for the beverages available at the park.

This year, Knott's is having a Summer Nights event, inspired by camping and backyard BBQ food, with oversized classic games. The Knott's Summer Nights festival takes place around the Calico Mine Stage area. The whole viewing area is covered in AstroTurf, had fire pits, picnic tables, food booths, and lawn games such as corn hole and miniature golf.

The festival also has live music, entertainment and other activities that start around 6 pm until the park closes.

Since we visited for the food, here are some of the things we got to try. Since you already know, I am on Keto and save my carbs for alcoholic beverages, so my friends "sacrifice" themselves to eat the food so I can tell you about it.

The Food

There are 9 booths that offer Summer Nights festival items. They have a $35 tasting card, which you can get at Ghost Town Candy, Cordy's Candy Cortner and at specialty carts around the Calico area.

Booth A: Ice Cream

There are two items available with ice cream flavors of Vanilla, Pecan and Boysenberry

Booth B: Kettle Corn, Fruit Salads, and Pastries

Booth D: Chili and Sausage

Booth G: Fudge Dipped Apples

Who doesn't love apples with chocolate? In this booth you can buy them, just use a tasting card tab or pay $ 9.99

Booth H and I: Beer, Wine, and Lemonade

The sparkling cider was amazing. Very refreshing. Please note that you might need to use tasting card tab for wine and beer, at the media event you were not able to pay "a la carte" for them.
