COCO opens in theaters everywhere on November 22nd!When Disney Pixar first announced they were producing Coco I was excited but afraid at the same time. You never know what turns the story is going to take, how accurate they can get the cultural references and also how different they movie was going to be from The Book of Life.
We are all in for a great surprise. Both movies actually are very different from each other (although both are beautiful) and the studio showed everyone again that they know how to get directly into your heart and manage your emotions. No spoilers here... only advice. Do NOT forget the tissues. You might (will) cry!

COCO opens in theaters everywhere on November 22nd!You might not know everyone at this press junket, but I do. I have seen these people in other movies, tv shows or novelas before. It was such a pleasure being able to interview the cast of the movie Pixar Coco. On attendance to the press junket we had: Benjamin Bratt (voice of “Ernesto de la Cruz”), Gael Garcia Bernal (voice of “Hector”), Anthony Gonzalez (voice of “Miguel”), Edward James Olmos (voice of “Chicharron”), Alanna Ubach (voice of “Mama Imelda”), Director Lee Unkrich, Co-Director Adrian Molina and Producer Darla K. Anderson.
This giveaway is here just in time, not only because the movie will be in theaters next week and your kids are going to go crazy for all the Coco toys, but also because the holidays are upon us and if you win, you can have some of these as gifts for your kids (or yourself.. I am so getting some of these Funko Pops for me!)
This post is a collaboration with Lionsgate for the movie Wonder. All opinions, typos and grammatical errors are my own. If you read the book you know the movie is going to make you cry. Not a better time for the movie to be released that when the world has been experiencing so much hate and intolerance for every single little thing. Not a better time to remind everyone to be kind, to love itself and to respect others.
This post is a collaboration with Disney Pixar for their movie Coco. All opinions, grammatical errors and typos are my own. I cannot wait for the movie Coco to be out in theaters and take my family to watch it. The expectations are high. Although I am not Mexican, I am Latina and I am super happy to see that Disney Pixar has decided to make a movie to celebrate Latino culture, specially with a holiday that has so much meaning and represents the best of Latinos: The appreciation and love for Family!
