Windy Spring in California does not have to mean dry skin, at least not anymore, thanks to Exerderm4/21/2014 Eczema also known as Dermatitis is a very common disease that cause irritated skin that is dry and itchy. Most people will only see a red patch that usually increases on size and might look like a rash if the person is exposed to the trigger factor, in most cases weather related. It is usually a seasonal condition and very common during cold, windy months. In our house I get it on my arms and my son tends to get it on his checks. It mostly happens when the windy is blowing and it is still cold out (spring time in California). We were really glad we got some samples to review and help us with our skin problems. Exederm is a line of skin products that has been honored by the National Eczema Association with the “Seal of Acceptance” award because it really helps patients with the condition and the whole line it is free of
Every time we get the first symptoms, we apply a small amount and the dry, bumpy, itchy skin starts to get soft and the redness disappears. The line is so good that we use it all year long after the shower as body lotion, but we certainly apply it more often we get some symptoms in those problem areas. You can buy Exederm from their website (there are discounts there) or you can also find it at national lead retailers both in stores and online.

If you like cute, intense movies that make you smile, cry and are food for though then you should head to theaters to watch Heaven is for Real. Heaven is For Real is Based on the #1 New York Times best-selling book of the same name, HEAVEN IS FOR REAL. The story brings to the screen the true story of a small-town father who must find the courage and conviction to share his son’s extraordinary, life-changing experience with the world. The film stars Academy Award® nominee and Emmy® award winning actor Greg Kinnear as Todd Burpo and co-stars Kelly Reilly as Sonja Burpo, the real-life couple whose son Colton (newcomer Connor Corum) claims to have visited Heaven during a near death experience. Colton recounts the details of his amazing journey with childlike innocence and speaks matter-of-factly about things that happened before his birth … things he couldn’t possibly know. Todd and his family are then challenged to examine the meaning from this remarkable event. By Sony Pictures Publicity Heaven Is For Real opens in theaters on April 16th, 2014.I had the opportunity to attend one of the screenings for this movie, and I can tell you that the emotions after the movie can be really strong. I had read the book before, so I knew what the movie was about, and I am very impressed with the actors and how they made the book come alive in such a good way. I was also part of the group of bloggers that attended the press conference and I learned a few things form the actors. Interview with Thomas Haden Church: He prepared for his role as a fire fighter by doing a 2 day training in a local fire department in Texas. Then he rode on the fire trucks while on location and learned how to put all the gear, which he says it is not easy, specially putting the air packs. He also talked to us about his faith and he said that It’s always been there, and he keeps using the an analogy that, whenever you’re a child you start out with a very fundamental set of tools, like a spiritual train set. And as you go along and you get older, some of those things are lost. But this movie helped him revitalize where he was spiritually. He also said he would not be talking to us (the bloggers) if he had not been at the movie. He would not been talking about hopeful, loving and spiritual dynamics. Then he said: " you guys are all moms, that is cool, you can always have good enerty with a bunch of moms! We also got to meet Connor Corum, the young star from the film. He is just adorable. It is so hard to believe he is so young because he looks so natural and great on the movie. Connor told us that he enjoys being an actor. That is SO FUN!. His favorite scene in the movie is when he was sick. He told us he kept drinking juice to be able to spit up. He also liked the scene with the spider and he is not afraid of spiders. We also met with Director Randall Wallace, and if the name sounds familiar is because he directed Braveheart too. He is such a nice guy. He teared up telling us about his mom and made us laugh telling us about the film situations. He also told us that Connor had an amazing time and it was easy to direct because he was not really acting. I also got to meet the Burpos. The book and the movie are based on their story. It was so great to meet them and see that they are traveling all over the country helping people with workshops and Colton helps kids that are dying to get peace. He still remembers clearly some of the images about heaven he saw. You can just feel the love when you are around the family. Their words make you feel at ease. It is an emotional movie. Now I want to take my son to see it, because I think it that it would develop great conversations about religion and faith. The movie is out in theaters, do not miss it!
I would also recommend to read the book (that is available in Spanish too) because it has so many details about the story that cannot be described on the movie. My family and I enjoyed a little treat this week. The amazing people at Domino's Pizza sent us the new Specialty Chicken to try out. It was a very nice surprise to get home and find that I did not need to make any dinner. It had been a long day at work and knowing that we had a treat to enjoy was awesome For $5.99, you get white meat chicken topped with Domino's-quality cheese and your choice of toppings. The flavors are:
We got to try the Classic Hot Buffalo. My son loves buffalo sauce and he said it was great. Not to spicy and just the right amount of cheese. My husband loved the texture and he said that is was a great way to eat fast food. He described them as chicken nuggets with pizza toppings. I liked the fact that they were not too greasy and the chicken was tender. I also liked the size, because it is enough for 2 people. I cannot wait to try the other flavors and I cannot wait for gluten free versions so I can share with other friends as well. To learn more see the press release What do you think? Is this something you would like to try? and what flavor would you like to try first? Disclosure: I received free samples of Domino’s Specialty Chicken to review.. All opinions expressed are my own. I love music. I listen to music when I drive, cook and shower. I listen to music pretty much all day long. What type of music do I listed to? A little bit of everything, but off course being Colombian, I enjoy merengue, salsa and cumbias. I am so excited about the Premios Billboard de la Música Latina. It is an event that I follow along, because some of my favorite artists get recognized as the best in the Latin music. This year Sprint is the exclusive wireless sponsor. They are the perfect sponsor because Sprint brings music lovers everywhere closer to the artist and music they love.
