Tax Season is here and everyone is looking for easy but secure ways to file their taxes. TurboTax announced the launch of the first full mobile tax preparation solution in Spanish: TurboTax SnapTax Filing taxes is something new for me. Taxes work different in Colombia so I am not an expert and I get always confused. So when I heard about the new application I was really interested on learning more about it. With the app that has a feature to change the language to Spanish people would be able to file taxes from their phones or tables, with simply snap a shot (photo) of their W2 and answering some simple questions. Once their review the information they can hit the button “File My Takes” and that is it. It would take them less than 10 minutes to do so.
The application is available now for a FREE download at App Store, Google Play Marketplace, Amazon.com and SnapTax.com.
You can change the language to Spanish as well
The app has security and privacy to make sure your information is confidential and save at all times.
The application is FREE, but I do have 3 (three) gift cards so you can use Turbo Tax Premier Edition (valued at $74.99) online and you will be able to finish your taxes for free.
To enter for a chance to win you can do the following
1. Comment below telling me if you do your own taxes or you pay someone to do them for you.
2. For an additional entry you can download the app and comment here telling me when you have done it.
3. For an additional entry you can follow me on facebook and leave me a comment saying that you did
4. For an additional entry follow me on twitter and leave a comment saying that you did.
Contest only valid for US residents 18 years or older. Only one winner per household.
Entries end on February 23, 2014 at 11:59 pm PST
Disclosure: I did not received any compensation for this post. I found the application very useful and wanted to share it with all my readers.
CONGRATULATIONS TO THE WINNERS!!
I was so happy when I got the email that I had been selected to host a #Disneyside party. My son's birthday is on February and it was just the perfect way for us to celebrate. We love all Disney things and all the awesome things that arrived on the package were just perfect for us.
When I told my son we could have a Disney party, he was very happy. He started talking about his favorite characters and rides at Disneyland. Then he came up with a wonderful idea, an idea that can only come from this child that is turning into such a great creative young adult. He wanted to have a Disney Bash with a combination of different things Disney. His picks were: Mickey, Phineas and Ferb, Star Wars and Marvel Avengers.
It was a fun party to plan. I was trying to figure out what to create for each character he chose. For the main decorations it was easy. The #disneyside package had Mickey plates, cups, napkins and table cover. It was perfect to show our love for the mouse (Mickey)
I remember I had some Jello's mold for Phineas and Ferb so I decided to make some chocolates. I was short of time preparation (since I have been quite busy at work), so I just went for different colors, but each one uni-color. I wrapped them on individual bags, so kids could take them home with them.
I chose Avengers for the cupcakes. Fondant is easy to work with. Once the topper is created, you just need to bake cupcakes. They kids loved them
Cake was vanilla with strawberry (my son's favorite) and we went for Star Wars. Dark blue represents dark side (I know we are kind of #geek here)
We had our party at a Pizza place, so I did not have to worry about food. We had some pizza, hot wings and all you can eat salad. If you know me, of have seen my other posts about parties, I love being creative and making cute things for parties. So I made some desserts to share with the adults as well.
It was a great celebration. We got to share our #disneyside and of course to celebrate seeing my son becoming this unique person that make me proud each day because he has such a great heart. Happy 9th Birthday Nicolas!!!
Disclosure: we received some items as part of the #disneyside celebration party kit to help with the celebration, however all ideas, comments and opinions are our own.
I have been eating healthier, being more active and I given up soda. So trying to find replacements to drink either with meals or for my breakfast is very important for me. I have been experimenting with some recipes, mixing some fruits and veggies and this combination of berries and beets is just awesome. The best news, even little ones will like it.
Blend all ingredients together and enjoy
It’s important to teach children at a young age the importance of doing good, paying it forward and sometimes even putting others before themselves. It shapes them to be responsible, caring and compassionate human beings, and they will lead the world.
That’s why The Orphaned Earring is happy to team up with the Culver City Girls Scouts and inspire each girl to make a difference. During Girl Scout cookie season, the Culver City Girl Scouts will be working hard to earn their Girl Scout Bronze award, a leadership adventure and the highest honor a Girl Scout Junior can achieve. The troop plans and complete a project where they will develop more confidence, meet new people, and have the kind of fun that happens when they work with other Girl Scouts and their community and together BE the difference.
For their Bronze Award project, the Culver City Troop has joined our #4LoveOfLife program conducted every year during the month of February to celebrate LOVE. The girls will make and sell bracelets to provide 90 orphan girls in Guatemala a school uniform, school supplies and cover other immediate needs.
Let’s give the Girl Scout Junior Troop 5635 in Culver City a shout-out for the amazing and selfless work they’re doing and celebrate how new generations are learning to DO GOOD!
