Amazing Artisan Waffle Sandwiches: Gaüfreé (giveaway)

I was invited to the blogger event at Gaüfreé at the Irvine location to sample their menu. And I can tell you that I am really impressed with the concept and the quality of the food.

So what is Gaüfreé? It is french for Waffle and it is pronounced "Go Free"

At Gaüfreé you will find a great selection of Waffle Sandwich, but the Gaüfreé waffles are made with a yeast dough based variation. This makes the waffle savory, not sweet, no wonder their sandwiches are so good.

Gaüfreé uses locally sourced organic ingredients, grass fed beef and free range chicken. So the food not only taste good but it is actually good for you! It is from the farm to the table, and they even made their own sauces.

The restaurant also wants to bring people together. With their casual seating arrangements it is easy to connect with the person seating next to you and they even added a "Do you know me" card to every table to facilitate meaningful conversations. 

Gaüfreé has gluten free options and on their menu they have other meal options such as salads, awesome fries and really yummy desserts. Even the drinks are good. They offer pure cane sugar natural lemonade and Boyland Artisan sodas. If you are looking for something warm they have great cappuccinos and fair trade organic coffee.
