5 Things you should order when you visit Wokcano Restaurant

Wokano is an Asian Fusion Restaurant and Lounge. They have six locations is SoCal. The menu has a great variety of dishes including sushi, sashimi, modern riffs and traditional fare.

I met at the Huntington Beach location with a group of friends to sample of the food and learn some photography tips for the awesome Allen Taylor.

If you visit Wokano soon, here are my recommendations of what to order.

Mixed Shahismi Salad

Assorted Fresh Sashimi, Avocado, Mixed Greens, Seaweed Salad, & Cucumbers with Japanese Soy Dressing. If you love Sashimi, this salad is for you. Great as a main dish or as an appetizer as well.

Grilled Salt & Pepper Hamachi Collar

This amazing fish plate comes served with Ponzu Sauce. Not to salty, not too fishy. Just the perfect flavor and consistency.

Garlic Black Bean Pork Belly

Premium Pork Belly Sautéed with Garlic, Bell Peppers, Jalapeños and Ginger in a Black & Bean Sauce. This one is a little spicy, so if you have little ones with you, maybe skip it. Otherwise, enjoy the combination of flavors between the meat ant the vegetables.

Singapore Style Noodles

Curry Flavor Thin Rice Noodle Wok-Tossed with Chicken, Shrimp, Red Bell Peppers, Bean Sprouts, & Onions

Mochi Ice Cream with mixed berries

Off course you have to finish with dessert. And we got a sweet treat that it was so delicious. It is a soft mochi ice cream. It comes in different flavors but we tried the green tea and strawberry.
