My family loves Fresh Brothers. Their pizza has a great flavor, they have fresh ingredients, they have gluten free crust and vegan cheese. Their wings are great and their salads are so yummy. So when we heard that they were opening a new location, we really wanted to go and celebrate with them.

And they had great things planned. For the grand opening the store was opening sampling and also activities for the kids. The kids were able to make their own pizza, play with dough and so much more.

And there was also face painting. And my son wanted to show his love for Fresh Brothers with a pizza on his face!

runDisney is excited to be at the start line of Disney’s D23 Expo and lead the way with the runDisney D2.3 Fun Run on Friday, August 9.

In celebration of Disneyland’s 58th anniversary, D23: The Official Disney Fan Club has launched the “Off the Map Sweepstakes.”

Walt Disney’s private apartment: Built during the initial construction of Disneyland, Walt Disney’s private apartment is a quaint studio dwelling, filled with Victorian decor, family photos, and antiques selected by the Disney family.

Last  Sunday I attended an event put together by Xenia from Raised by Culture and A.J from Confessions of a Fat Girl. The event was not only really fun but it was also very productive. I made a gift bag made of newspaper and a new necklace.

So when I signed up for the event I was really excited. I get to hang out with the awesome ladies from SoCal Lady Bloggers and learn something new. So I drove down to Anaheim to this little cute craft studio The Makery and the very awesome shop next to it A little Known Shop with the staff from the Academy of Handmade. Once I arrived I started to get nervous. I love scrapbooking but I really do not do lots of crafts. I am the one that pays for things to get done, not the one that makes those things. But I had no reason to fear, the awesome people that held the workshop guide us through the process and helped me complete my projects.

Now you know you cannot be creative when you are hungry, so the sponsor Green Tomato Grill provided some really yummy wraps and very tasty salads. PopChips sent us home with their yummy chips.

We also had great ice cream bars, wine from Turning Leaf and cookie (brought by the bloggers… and these bloggers can bake!)

So I went home with some goodies, crafts and new or stronger friendships. That was my Sunday, so how was yours?
