I was invited to enjoy a concert performance of West Side Story. Gustavo Dudamel led the Los Angeles Philharmonic in the poignant and powerful musical, with stars such as Jeremy Jordan (NBC’s SMASH and CBS’ Supergirl) as Tony, sensational newcomer Solea Pfeiffer as Maria, and Karen Olivo as Anita. The show was amazing and we were able to enjoy some of our favorite songs such “Maria,” “America,” “Somewhere” and “Tonight.
- Order supper in you box seats: Hollywood Bowl Food + Wine's box dining experience, now called Supper in Your Box Seats, is comprised of fresh, seasonal, made-to-order dishes. Pre-order and choose from Suzanne Goin's three-course menus, family-style feasts of BBQ or Summer Seafood, à la carte starters, main courses and desserts. Orders must be placed by 4pm the day before your concert.
- Order a picnic box: In addition to the many food and beverage options on site, you can pre-order a delectable picnic box up until 4pm the day before your concert. When you arrive at the Bowl, you can pick up your picnic from Kitchen 22 (located near the Promenade 1 entrance), and enjoy it in one of the Bowl’s beautiful picnic areas or at your seats.
- Make Backyard reservations: (Formerly Rooftop Grill). Two wood-burning grills featuring steaks and skewers, market-fresh grains and greens, as well as an extensive raw bar are the heart of this al fresco restaurant with a Hollywood Hills backyard feel.
- Make reservations at the Winery Bar by A.O.C: Suzanne's farmers market-inspired small plates menu combined with Caroline's dynamic yet approachable curated wine program makes this an easy first stop at the Bowl.
