Last week was crazy, but the good news is that I was able to walk every day my 5 miles.
I have yet to see the weight lost, however my clothes are loose, so I guess that is important as well. I keep telling myself I am gaining muscle and that is why the scale is not showing the numbers.

I have been eating small portions so my hope is the pounds will start dropping soon.

I am going to start jogging for a minute during my walk. I really want to do my first officially 5k soon. I see all the sistas post on facebook and twitter and I feel motivated to do it too.

Now, I still drink some diet soda once in a while. I have tried bad to quit, but you know what, instead of having a bag full of chips, I have some sips of the soda. Not perfect but a progress.

I have one holiday party coming up. That is going to be challenging, but I will stay strong.
How do you stay away from that cheese and cracker platter?
I am afraid to eat before and still eat at the party. I am afraid of not eating and then overeating. I had made those mistakes on the past, so any advice will help.

I cannot wait for another 2weekchallenge to push myself more...

Thanks

I promise you that your clothes being loose means you are doing all of the right things! I know it can be frustrating to not see the number change but don't let that discourage you! You are not defined by that number :)

Great job walking everyday and planning on jogging! Remember, no matter what you do .. You are lapping the people who are still sitting on the couch!

Hope you have a great week Monica!

You should check out Couch to 5k programs. I did one and it got me to running a 5k. If you've got a smart phone, there are gobs of free apps to get you going.

Keep up the good work! I like that you are weaning yourself off the bad stuff slowly. :)

I was also going to suggest the couch to 5K program! The first week you run in a couple of 30 second spurts and you gradually run more and more. That's how I got started :)

Great job.... it's not about the scale, it's about how your clothes fit!! You rock. I think for holiday parties, just make sure you take small portions, but don't restrict what you eat :)

It's HARD to quit soda, isn't it! You should be proud of yourself, you are moving in the right direction.

You're doing a great job walking so much! Have you tried Couch to 5k? I really hated running until I did that program. Then, I was able to run a 5k! Good luck!
