Fun family night with The Amazing Spiderman DVD and the Augmented reality app. #SpiderManWMT #Cbias11/4/2012 In our house going to Walmart is always an adventure. We visit Walmart not only when we need groceries, but also for toys and movies. Even when we only need milk, my son wants to make a little run by the toy department to check out new toy sets. We were lucky to receive the new The Amazing Spiderman movie in an exclusive gift set. As soon as we got the movie, my son started planning a fun Movie night with games and of course food. We also found out about the awesome application Web-Slinger, and augmented reality application that brings Spiderman and The Lizard to live and in which you can also be the star of a comic book. My son was really excited to go looking for the signs at Walmart and be able to unlock new pages The first thing we saw when coming to Walmart was this sign. And of to creating the comic book we were. Picking up food and snacks was easy. Walmart Marketside pizza has boxes with Spiderman and The Lizard on them. Those boxes have special codes that when scanned with the application will bring The Lizard to life and if you scan both the DVD and the pizza at the same time, you can see Spiderman fight The Lizard. We could not wait to get home and try this feature out. Walmart also has plenty of toys and other Spiderman items available. The selection includes juices, snacks and even peanut butter. There is also candy and the Spiderman party supplies are really cool too. Once we got back home from Walmart, my son could not wait to activate the application with the DVD and the pizza boxes. It is really cool to be able to interact with the characters and see how they come to life on top of your boxes. Once pizza was done and all snacks were served, we started playing some spiderman card games and trivia questions about the comics and then to open our awesome gift set that comes with a exclusive Spiderman Mask DVD case After all the fun preparing and getting ready for our party it was time for what I was really waiting for. During summer when the movie came out, I was busy working and I did not get to see the movie. So it was finally my treat. I got to see The Amazing Spiderman, enjoy the bonus DVD and play with a great smartphone application and spend some good quality time with the family. For more pictures about our adventure at Walmart and playing with the application visit our Google plus album I also want to invite you to visit the Amazing Spider-Man on their Webpage. Follow Spider-Man on Facebook andTwitter You can also stream the movie from Vudu.com where you can get a free movie code. To Download the Augmented Reality App you can visit iTunes Store or do it from Google Play Disclosure: I am a member of the Collective Bias™ Social Fabric® Community. Disney is shinning again. The new movie out in theaters today is amazing. The production is everything you expect from Disney and even more. The movie will make you laugh and even cry. It is prefect for kids, teens and adult. For those of us that are older it will take us back to the times of playing Atari and old times video games (Wonderful memories). "From Walt Disney Animation Studios and Emmy®-winning director Rich Moore comes “Wreck-It Ralph,” a hilarious, arcade-game-hopping adventure. For decades, Ralph (voice of John C. Reilly) has been overshadowed by Fix-It Felix, Jr. (voice of Jack McBrayer), the good-guy star of their game who always gets to save the day. Tired of playing the role of a bad guy, Ralph takes matters into his own massive hands and sets off on a journey across the arcade through multiple generations of video games to prove he’s got what it takes to be a hero. On his quest, Ralph meets tough-as-nails Sergeant Calhoun (voice of Jane Lynch) from the first-person action game Hero’s Duty, and feisty misfit Vanellope von Schweetz (voice of Sarah Silverman) from the candy-coated cart-racing game Sugar Rush, who may just be his first real friend. But everything changes when a deadly enemy is unleashed, threatening the entire arcade and Vanellope herself. Ralph finally gets his chance to save the day—but can he do it in time? “Wreck-It Ralph” crashes onto the big screen on November 2, 2012, in Disney Digital 3D™ in select theaters." I had the opportunity to watch the movie at El Capitan Theater (Hollywood, CA) and I can tell you that my son thinks that it is one of the best movies ever. The magic of 3D allows little kids to feel part of the movie and "feel" all the emotions. With a wonderful message of accepting who you are and being proud of what you do, the movie will soon be one of your favorites. And as an extra, before the movie you will get to enjoy a short-film that will make you fly and fall in love... Paperman So if you are wondering what you should do this weekend, the answer is head to the movies and watch Wreck-it Ralph Disclosure: I was not compensated to write this post. I was provided with free tickets to watch the movie at El Capitan Theater but all opinions are my own
