From Friday, September 26 through Saturday, November 1, King Gillette Ranch in Calabasas will once again transform into an electrifying world of pumpkins, lanterns and immersive art, welcoming families and celebrities alike for a one-of-a-kind Halloween adventure.

Six Flags Magic Mountain, the undisputed Thrill Capital of the World, welcomes the return of fan favorite events and experiences ahead of spring break, which unofficially kicks off the 2025 season. In addition to the rides, guests can look forward to exciting live entertainment, festive décor and limited-time food offerings.

In celebration of spring break, summer and the holiday seasons, Magic Mountain will be open daily for select periods including March 7–April 28, May 16–Aug. 18, Nov. 21–Dec. 1 and Dec. 12–Jan. 4, 2026.

California Strawberry Festival 2023

After a three-year hiatus due to challenges brought on by the pandemic, the 37th Annual California Strawberry Festival will take place Saturday and Sunday, May 20-21. For the first time, the event will be held at the Ventura County Fairgrounds (10 W. Harbor Blvd., Ventura, CA 93001). Festivalgoers can indulge in strawberry treats from over 50 food and beverage booths. The festival features artists and crafters, a Ninja Nation obstacle course, live entertainment on two stages, Strawberryland for kids and "build-your-own" strawberry shortcake.
