Planning a successful road trip

With the holidays here and kids off school, we are all thinking about taking a vacation. So many destinations but let's be real, the price of airfare makes it super hard for families to go on a last minute trip. However, when I think about some of the best vacations I have ever taken, I think about road trips.

Going on a trip to Charlotte, NC, should always, in my opinion mean that you will have some type of NASCAR experience. Even f it is just getting a souvenir at the airport. Even if you are not a huge NASCAR fan (why aren't you?) you are at the land that is home to some of the biggest race teams, the NASCAR Hall of Fame in downtown Charlotte, and Charlotte Motor Speedway in Concord.

Mazda CX3 review

It was a long holiday, 3 days of fun with the family and we were lucky enough to have a Mazda CX3 for a week to test drive. When they delivered "Jeanna Grey" we were all really happy. It was time to see what this baby can do off road and how it performs on busy freeways.

Just in time for Sprig Break we got to drive test a Mitsubishi XLS 2WD Outlander 2L for a whole week. Here it is our honest review. I want to remind everyone I only know a few things about cars. They need gas, oil changes and air on the tires. This review is not about tech specifics. This is just our experience while driving the car.

Road trips are fun. We decided to drive up the coast of Central California towards Carmel By-The-Sea. The scenery during the trip is amazing so we knew we were going to have a good time. But as fun as road trips can be, they are also really tiresome. Unless you are able to stop several times to stretch your legs you will be in pain after the drive.
