I love Christmas time, because it is the season of giving. I what can be better than giving a present to someone that has more than the materialistic meaning? What if I tell you that you shop poverty-fighting holiday gifts from the 2014 World Vision Gift Catalog and you can find awesome presents for friends and family and part of the profit from your purchase will be donated to a specific charity? I got the opportunity to review one of the products from the catalog, and I really loved it. I choose the Hand-Carved Serving Spoons. Each beautiful set of two hand-carved olivewood serving spoons is delivered in a gift bag of African fabric hand-sewn by local women. The serving spoons are made to benefit orphans of the Kamba tribe in Kenya The spoons are really beautiful and the quality is pretty good. They will be a great addition to the salad serving plates or even pasta. The bag is colorful and makes the present very tasteful. I love to collect crafts from around the world and have a display wall at home. I will be ordering a second set to display on that wall, because they will also be great for decoration of the kitchen in case you decide not to use them to serve food. World Vision Catalog offers more than 250 items, ranging in price from $10 to $39,000, available online and in the print catalog to help improve quality of life for women, children and families in the U.S. and around the world. I love the idea that I can give a present while giving back to someone in need For more information on where to buy the spoons visit World Vision Gift Catalog Giveaway I have great news to you. One My Life is a Journey reader can win a set of Hand-Carved Serving Spoons so you can enjoy serving during the holidays or can keep as decoration. Let me know what you decide to do if you win....
