Disclosure: I was provided with free products to facilitate this post but all opinions are 100% my own I love a clean house. When my hubby and kid go away for vacation I enjoy my house because it seems it is the only way it stays clean for more than a day. I do not know about you, but I rather spend my time doing fun things than cleaning. That is why when I was sent the Swiffer products I was so happy. Not only they do their job and clean but they make it so easy that even your kids can help you clean. It has been my goal as a mom, to teach my son discipline and also assign him chores. I want him to be independent and help to keep the house clean. And the Swiffer Sweeper Vac was just a perfect tool to do so. It is a vacuum cleaner and sweeper. So you can pick up those bigger crumbs with the vacuum and also dog hair and smaller things with the cleaning cloths. Since it has a 360 degrees swivel head, you can reach into places and corners that you could not reach with a normal vacuum cleaner. The other products also do their magic. The Swiffer dusters are great to remove dust without having to move your entire things around and it allows you to get to those hard to reach places. Cleaning will never be fun, but at least it can be easier with the Swiffer Family Products. And they make cleaning such an easy chore that now I can assign the kitchen floor and dusting his room to my son. It was a win-win situation, well, at least for me.. Disclosure: I was provided with complementary tickets to Disneyland for the media event, however all opinions are my own. My family was invited to watch the debut performance of Mickey and the Magical Map. As Disney knows how to do, they treated us as royalty, with Kettle corn, water and tickets to enjoy the park after the show. The show is presented at the newly refurbished Fantasyland Theatre just across from It’s a small World. After a presentation from our Disney hostess, we were taking into a journey within the mysteries of Mickey’s Magical Map. With amazing special effects, music, choreography and storylines, the show features 8 Disney’s productions: The Jungle Book, Pocohontas, Mulan, Tangled, The Little Mermaid, Lilo & Stitch and The Princess and the Frog and of course Mickey Mouse. As it is usual with Disney there is a cute message at the end: Everything is possible and the journey is never over. We were also able to meet and ask questions to: Tracy Halas, Show Director/Choreographer; Mike Layman, Technical Director and Scott Auerbach, Art Director. They explained how everything came into place and the development of the show. The show is around 25 minutes long and it is a show that everybody will love! So if you are visiting Disneyland this summer, make sure you stop by at watch the show. You and your family are going to love it. Disclosure: My family received complementary passes to attend Medieval Times, however all opinions expressed are my own. My family and I were invited to the show Medieval Times. Let me tell you all about our journey into the Middle Ages and the time of the Knights. Since my husband and son will be traveling to Ohio soon, we wanted to have an early Father’s Day celebration and what a better place to visit that Medieval Times. When you arrive to pick up your tickets, you can upgrade for different options and you can also choose to visit for an extra nominal fee the Middle Ages Museum called The Museum of Torture. At the small museum you get to see all types of weapons and torture tools used at the Middle Ages. Everyone at the show is dressed in traditional Middle Ages attire and addresses you as my lady or my lord. This is a great way to help you get into the mood for the show. They gave us white and black crowns. That meant we had to cheer for our Knight Don Iofre Santa Creu, defender of the ancient shrine at Santiago de Compostela. We were seated by the servers and we were ready to start the show. If you get the royalty upgrade you get preferential seating and also a banner to cheer your knight. Once everyone is at their seats the trumpets sound and The King and Queen beckoned the staff to bring on the feast. Then the servers begin bringing you the royal feast. The feast includes: Tomato Bisque Soup, Castle Bread, Roasted Chicken, BBQ Spare Rib, Herb-Basted Potato, and a Pastry of the Castle for desert. There are also drinks: Pepsi, Ice Tea or water with the option of buying alcoholic beverages. They also have a vegetarian menu available The roasted chicken is very delicious, the BBQ flavor of the ribs is unique, the potato seasoning is very tasty and the rest of the menu just complements all very good. All of the food is to be eaten with your bare hands as they did in the Middle Ages when silverware had not been invented. And while everyone is enjoying the feast, a great show is taking place. There are horses and knights, weapons, live jousting, fights and battles. It is all very entertaining. There is even a Falcon that flights over the audience. The fights are so intense that there are sparks with the swords and weapons get crushed and Knights get pushed off their horses. You are taken back in time as you cheer for the Knight of the Realm that has the same colors as your crown. At the end there is only one winner. It was not our Knight, but the show was really entertaining. You feel like you were in a Journey to the Medieval Times and both kids and adults will enjoy the food and show. Medieval times is the perfect place to celebrate special occasions such as Father’s Day, graduations, Birthdays and we even had a group with us celebrating a bachelor party.
