So, I am not only losing weight, but I am changing the way I do things. I am exercising, I am eating healthier and I am involving my family on the changes.
I am challenging myself to try new things and do more fun things. So when I heard about the color me rad 5k, I was very interested.
Not only this is going to be my first official 5k, but also it is going to be a really fun one.
In this race, you start the day with a white t-shirt and end up all full of color. It is for all ages, so I am motivating my son to race with me. It is a very fun way to get active
Not only the races are fun but they sponsor a local non-profit organization as well. In California this year they are donating to the Special Olympics of Southern California.
Pasta con vegetales (sin carne, pero sabrosa)
2 cups of Pasta
1 cup of Broccoli
1 can of Peas and carrots
1 can of mushrooms
¼ cup Milk
¼ asparagus cream soup mix
2 tazas de pasta
1 taza de brócoli
1 lata de chicharos (arvejas) y zanahorias
1 lata de champiñones (hongos)
¼ taza de leche
¼ sobre de crema de espárragos
Cocine el brócoli hasta que este suave
Cocine la pasta
Mezcle la leche, la mezcla de la crema de espárragos, los chicharos, zanahorias y cocine hasta que la mezcla (salsa) este espesa. Mezcle con el brócoli.
Combine la mezcla de la salsa con la pasta y sirva con queso rallado.
