The masterminds of immersive storytelling and expert production behind some of the nation’s most talked-about immersive experiences, EPIC Entertainment Group, has once again partnered with the legendary Hotel del Coronado to reimagine the resort’s holiday season. This year, guests are invited to step into “A Holiday in Oz,” a whimsical celebration that captures the wonder, color, and imagination of L. Frank Baum’s timeless tale brought to life through thematic décor, innovative design, and EPIC’s signature storytelling magic. “Designing ‘A Holiday in Oz’ has been such a joyful creative journey,” said Charity Hill, Managing Partner at EPIC Entertainment Group. “The story of Oz is timeless…it’s about adventure, friendship, and finding home, which perfectly reflects the heart of the holidays. Our goal is to create an environment where The Del’s guests can truly step into that world, full of color, imagination, holiday magic, and wonder.” From the moment guests arrive, they’ll be transported down a golden path of imagination. The hotel’s historic grounds will dazzle with vibrant holiday trees, glittering garlands, and shimmering lights inspired by the journey to the Emerald City. A highlight of “A Holiday in Oz” is the Yellow Brick Road Tree Trail, where a winding path leads guests past four custom 12-foot trees, each reimagining one of L. Frank Baum’s beloved characters. The Dorothy Tree glows in sapphire blues and silver with ruby slippers and gingham ribbon; the Scarecrow Tree radiates rustic charm with straw, jute, and golden wheat complemented with deep navy bluest; the Cowardly Lion Tree roars in regal golds and coppers, crowned with a jeweled mane; and the Tin Woodman Tree gleams in metallic silver and heart-shaped ornaments and gear details. At the heart of the resort stands the 22-foot Lobby Tree, a breathtaking centerpiece themed as the Road to Oz. Drenched in emerald, ruby, and silver hues, the towering tree shimmers with hand-placed ornaments that mirror Dorothy’s journey. A graduated yellow ornament display winds upward like the Yellow Brick Road itself, symbolizing the path to the Emerald City. Throughout the property, additional showstoppers will continue the story, including the Wicked Witch of Oz Tree, cloaked in dramatic blacks, emerald, olive, and lime green, and the Glinda of Oz Tree, radiant in blush, champagne, and crystal tones that sparkle like magic in motion. Every tree brings a new chapter of the story to life, creating a spellbinding visual experience that celebrates the wonder and whimsy of Oz. Adding to the festive atmosphere, EPIC once again delivers the fan-favorite holiday light show that illuminates the hotel’s towering 100+ year-old Norfolk Island Pines on the Founders Lawn. Made famous in 1904 as the world’s first electrically lit outdoor Christmas tree, these iconic pines are brought to life year after year through EPIC’s enchanting design and production. This season debuts a new theme: the “Wonder of Oz” Lightshow Spectacular featuring more than 75,000 shimmering lights choreographed to an Oz-inspired twist on classic holiday music. “We’re proud to continue our creative partnership with Hotel del Coronado,” added Steve Sheldon, Managing Partner at EPIC Entertainment Group. “Every year we challenge ourselves to raise the bar, not only through design but through emotional connection. ‘A Holiday in Oz’ is a perfect example of how storytelling and craftsmanship can transform a space into an experience guests will remember for a lifetime.” “A Holiday in Oz” is part of Hotel del Coronado’s renowned “Legendary Holidays at The Del” programming, which includes festive dining, photos with Santa, and seasonal entertainment throughout the property. The installation runs through the holiday season November 21, 2025 thru January 4, 2026, inviting visitors to follow the Yellow Brick Road and discover the magic waiting just beyond the rainbow. Now in its ninth year, EPIC Entertainment Group continues to redefine the experiential landscape through full-service creative direction, design, and production for destination brands, legacy properties, and major entertainment venues across the country. With a growing roster of partners and a reputation for turning imagination into immersive reality, EPIC remains at the forefront of design, entertainment, and experiential innovation

Many marine-grade blinds include UV protection that helps reduce interior sun damage, preserving upholstery and electronics. They also help maintain comfortable lighting levels, whether the boat is anchored at a marina or cruising offshore.
