Hard to believe that the end of the school year is here, it seems that it was just yesterday that my son started 4th grade. Now that summer vacation is here, it is time to start looking for fun things to do and creating new memories that he will be able to share with his future family one day.
As you probably already know, we love roller coasters, and we enjoy going to Knott's Berry Farm, so much that we have season passes, because when we travel to Ohio we also visit the park there. We had been waiting for a couple of weeks now, to ride the new attraction and we were not disappointed.
Voyage To The Iron Reef is an interactive ride. The good thing about it is that kids of all ages can ride it even those afraid of highs. The ride seats 4 people, perfect for families and since there is a score it is great for friendly competitive families like mine. Another cool thing, it is an inside attraction so you are able to cool off and rest from the sun for a little bit.
One great thing about Knott's is that they keep changing the shows and adding new things every season so if you go as often as we do, you will always have something new. This time around we recommend the new ice skating show the Blockbuster Beagle.
There is also Lazer Tag available for an additional fee, but it is so much fun that you have to check it out.
Something we had never experienced before and that it is totally worth the money is the fast lane pass. As the park gets busier during the day you reduce the wait in lines to ride roller coasters and get to experience more things during the day. It was so cool that we were able to ride some of our favorites twice without any problems.
Enjoy summer with your family, head over to Knott's, and if you do, stop by and let me know what your favorite ride is.
