Mother's Day coming to theaters April 29, 2016
Intertwining stories revolve around a television host (Julia Roberts), a divorcee (Jennifer Aniston) looking for love and a woman (Kate Hudson) who wants to strengthen her relationship with her mother. This big-hearted comedy invites us all to enjoy the laughter, tears and love as three generations come together in the week leading up to Mother¹s Day.
The cast of Garry Marshall’s latest romantic comedy, Mother’s Day — including Julia Roberts, Jennifer Aniston, Shay Mitchell, Jack Whitehall and Aasif Mandvi — graced the red carpet Wednesday evening at the TCL Chinese Theater in Hollywood.
I was lucky enough to screen the movie early in the day and met Director Garry Marshall and actress Britt Robertson. They were both really nice and told us a little bit about the movie.
During the screening we also got to play a little with the FujiFilm Instax cameras. If you have not seen them before, take a look at them, because they are not only super cute but they allow you to share memories with friends right away. Take a picture, it is printed and you get to scrapbook it or carry it on your wallet. The best part, these cameras have great resolution and even flash. They actually take great pictures.
Now let me tell you about the movie. It is a comedy but it has deep content. The stories are great and believable. It relates to moms so much. It touches different type of motherhood styles. It is a must see movie with mom friends or your mom. It is a movie you can relate to.
It was great to be at the movie premiere. Not only I got to see the movie for a second time and laugh again, but we got glimpses of the actors and watched the movie at the beautiful Chinese Theater in Hollywood.
I spent the day enjoying with friends, enjoying the craziness of Hollywood and got to have some me time while laughing with the movie. Even though it was not Mother's Day just yet it kind of felt like it for a while.
Who would you take to watch this movie?
