The Counting Kingdom is a turn-based tower defense game. A young wizard is defending castles using his mathematical magic skills. Each turn, the player can select a single monster or a group of monsters with a set of available spells. The monsters have numbers on them and the way to get rid of the monsters is by casting spells that correspond to the numbers on the monsters themselves (the sum of all monsters selected must equal the spell you are casting)
The game is aimed for kids 6-8 years old and it starts with simple math and as the level progress there are more difficult additions which allows the kids to challenge themselves.
My son was very excited with the game and it kept him entertained for at least 1 hour the first time he played (we were stuck on traffic and it was a live saver)
He has played after that and he thinks this is a great game that challenges him. He says math is even more fun with games like this.
The game is available now for iphone and ipad at the itunes store and from the Counting Kingdom webpage
