Although I am not Mexican, I have learned to love this tradition and love celebrating it with my son. This year we have decided to decorate the house with sugar skulls, make an altar with food and also wear a mask to celebrate.
- Paper with a drawing on the shape of a catrina (sugar skull)
- Trix cereal (you can also add Cocoa Puff and even Lucky Charms for more shapes and colors)
- Wood stick (or pen)
After it is dry you can glue a wood stick or a pen to the back so it easy to hold the mask in front of your face.
The video below shows you how easy is to make your mask. Now you are ready to enjoy el Dia de los Muertos in style.
