So, to help my son to learn to eat new foods, we try them, and we try them all over again. We have gone from not liking guacamole to love it (as long as is spicy), same things with other foods.
Now, I we have found a way to get even more different nutrients that otherwise he might not be eating as much. We are having green smoothies. To the smoothies we can add pretty much anything, but the one he really likes is the Kale/banana/strawberry one.
So here it is, we are sharing it with you. It is healthy and it is yummy.
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup organic apple juice
- 1 cup organic kale (frozen for better results)
- half banana (frozen for better results)
- 1 cup organic baby spinach
- 1 cup of ice
- 1 cup strawberries
Mix all the ingredients together and enjoy
