It was a long week so I am glad for the short week coming due to the holiday. It seems that work keeps piling up and being short staffed is not fun. More things to do and not enough time. SIGH

I am really trying to eat healthy, but there is always a birthday or social encounter that seems to get on the way. But I am not giving up. I am going to be doing this #2weekchallenge and with that I will try to tweet pics to force me to eat healthy. I am also going to be doing some protein shakes again. They keep me full and give me energy.

My main issue with eating is that at work the coworkers want to eat out a lot. I am going to be strong and just eat what I take.

I having been walking at night and also doing zumba on the xbox. I think that those combined with #2weekchallenge will get me where I want to be as my initial goal. I need to train my body again so I am not sore and stop exercising for pain.

Giving up soda, seems like a dream. For now I am happy I have reduced the amount I drink weekly and there are days I do not have any, but when stressed I go back to my diet soda. So I am taking that as success now, because life has been stressful lately.

I hope to tweet during the #2weekchallenge to give support and hopefully get some support too.

Let's rock this challenge.

PS: And I DO love Dole, because nothing better than healthy snacks.

When I gave up soda I thought it would be the hardest thing I've had to do, and it was at the very first. But now I don't miss it at all. I will occasionally take a sip and it will totally remind me why Im not drinking it at all. You are gonna rock the 2 week challenge and we will all be right here behind you rooting you on!

Giving up soda is a hard habit to break, but once you finally break yourself of it and try to go back, you realize why you shouldn't drink it. I am so glad to have given it up. Whenever I feel that I need a fizzy drink, I use my SodaStream to make fizzy water and add some lemon or other flavoring and it satisfies me.

Yes, office pressures to eat can be tough. I always found that when I packed something healthy I felt too bad about wasting it I would go out. I found other coworkers who shared my feelings and we enjoyed our brown bag together. Hope you find your groove with it and have a fabulous week!

I can TOTALLY relate to there never being enough hours in the day for everything that needs to be done. The stress of not having time to complete everything does NOT help things at all LOL!

The thing that has helped me with HAVING to eat out at times is collecting nutritional guides from all the local restaurants and fast food places. I go through them and circle things that I CAN eat without compromising my health goals and then I know what I can order if/when I go to or order from that place. Also, I get WATER -- no exceptions, but I had to work to get to that point because my addiction used to be PEPSI and SWEET TEA! lol

I tell people to choose ONE activity to add, ONE bad eating/drinking habit to break, and do your best to at least IMPROVE your sleep cycle even if just a little bit (going to sleep a few minutes earlier or sleeping a few minutes later) and get used to those small changes before making more. Gradual is ALWAYS better and tends to stick longer than when you make a ton of drastic changes at once and make yourself feel defeated, exhausted, and deprived.

GOOD LUCK!!!!!

Cutting out soda is HARD! I know where you are.. I just recently cut it out again completely, cold turkey. There are days when I crave that sweet nectar but I haven't given in yet. All things in moderation!
