Lego Party (Part 2)
This the second part of the Lego Party for my son. In part one I explained how we started the planning and the
invitation.

Today I will be showing you the party favors, food and giving you some game ideas.

After we delivered the invitations,  I started making the party favors. I took ideas from many blogs and had
already gathered some supplies from Oriental Trading and Ebay

I got small red bags at Walmart. My son’s birthday is on the month of February so finding red bags was pretty easy. I added some dots to the bags to make them look like Lego blocks and printed on Lego font the names of the kids to add a personalized touch.

I wanted to have as many things Lego on the goody bags, but I did not want it to be really expensive. I saw in other blogs that you can make crayons and soap with molds, I got the molds at Ebay for those. I also used the molds to make chocolates for the bags and to have available at the party.

I also included a little box with some Lego shaped chocolates.

I added some Mini-figures that I found on sale at the Lego shop online, popcorn and a coloring book printed at home so they could use their crayons.

As for the party decorations, I used Lego blocks (washed and disinfected) to build a container for the chips. I also found some really cool red plates to serve the meal. I had a platter with Lego shaped chocolates.

We had the party at a local Children Musuem and they had a party room so it was easy to decorate and serve
Next week on Part 3, I will be sharing the games, food and cake. Do not miss it...
