I cannot believe that the schedule at work has been so crazy and since the training is still going, I have to put long hours. It is stressful for both me, and the family and also, has been difficult to organize the time to exercise and even eat. Not eat healthy, but eat. There has been days that I had not really have a lunch hour, but  eating while working, which really creates an issue because I feel I am swallowing the food, instead of chewing and enjoying it.

But I am hoping things change soon for the better. At least for the weekend the family decided to come to Mexico. It has been relaxing and good. Yes we have had some drinks, but we have also walked a lot and eat fresh food and veggies.

Organizing my work schedule and my son schedule has been difficult too. I do not like school lunches, so I have to either make time at night, or get up even earlier to make his lunch. I hope that systems such as the refrigerator family planner and some labels like the ones from Mabel Label’s we can get more organized.

How is your routine changing now that summer is winding down? Any go-to tips to stay organized/

The routine in our house has changed a lot. From having a job that allowed me to work from home to having to be at the office long hours, we feel that we cannot coordinate schedules and get ready for school. I got the mommy family calendar for our refrigerator to keep everyone schedule on track and I have been using a lot of post-its to mark things. However the awesome Mabel Label’s are not only useful for school use, but also for labeling things around the house. I believe that to stay organized you have to have things written down. Put in on paper and make it happen, otherwise you can easily forget about it.

It's tough working long hours and then finding the time to do for yourself. I hope things slow down for you at work so you can at least chew your food. Keep up the great attitude!

Monica,
I hope that things slow down for you soon. Very happy to hear that you are enjoying Mexico. Where did you get a mommy family calendar?

Take care,
Shannon

Totally jealous of the vacation time you are putting in!
I hate working and lunch rolled into one. I used to buy frozen dinners so I could quickly heat and reheat as I enjoyed mine between writing up contracts. I found it kept me skinny to eat lunch over the course of 3-4 hours, lol.
I think refrigerator labels would be an awesome trick to stay up on things. Thanks for that idea.

I only work part time and I still find schedules to be crazy. I hope that things become more manageable for you soon.

I'm the same way where I have to write things down or I completely forget about them! I hope things settle in more comfortably for you soon!
