I do not about your kids, but my son grows so fast. Just last August before starting school we got new clothes for him and before going to winter break all the clothes did not fit him any more. I usually cannot afford nice fashion brand clothes. Not only because they are expensive, but because I think it is silly to spend 60 dollars on a pair of jeans he is only going to wear for a few months. That is why I heard about this new website Cookieskids.com I was totally surprised and I had to go check it out. I have to tell you I am totally in love with the store. Cookieskids.com is a wonderful online site that carries many fashion brands at very affordable prices. The website Cookieskids.com is very friendly to use and it has a pretty cool tool that I had not seen before in any other online store. The Alva Kids icon is on every clothing page and allows you to enter your child's age, height, and weight to find the perfect size for each brand. Winter break is over and the kids have to go back to school. My son is really happy to have very cool and fashionable clothes that fit him and keep him warm. He has never owned a jean jacket before, so he is thrilled to show off his outfit at school. And the best is that the whole outfit was less than $35 dollars including shipping. My son thinks that the pants back pocket design is pretty cool. He also likes the quality of the clothes. The Jean Jacket is pretty functional for our weather in California. I am always looking for something fun and new to teach my son. We take trips, read books and also look online for new things to try out. We have lots of gadgets, because we love to have the "new" toys and try new things.
I heard about the Cypher Kids Cards a few weeks ago and I really wanted to try them. When I heard that they are available at selected Target stores, I told my son it was time to go for a little shopping trip.
Going to Target is always fun, and we love the sales and clearance items. We also love how clean and nice the store always looks.
We went to the electronics department to look for the cards and of course I had to stop by the toys department to look for some more items to add to the Christmas wish list.
The cards are easy to find at the iPad accessories wall, located at the electronic departments, and they told me they will fully stacked for Black Friday because they know a lot of people will be looking for the cards. When we got home, we had to decide which set we were going to open now and which ones we will be saving to play during the winter break. The Cypher Kids Club i3D Interactive Cards are available on Numbers, Animals and Alphabet. My son that loves science chose the animal pack. The cards are really cool looking and once you download the application at the itunes store all the fun begins. The cards give you the option to Explore and learn and interact with the animals and there is another option for Snapshot. My son enjoyed the cards a lot but I think his favorite part was being able to take pictures holding the animals. Disney is shinning again. The new movie out in theaters today is amazing. The production is everything you expect from Disney and even more.
The movie will make you laugh and even cry. It is prefect for kids, teens and adult. For those of us that are older it will take us back to the times of playing Atari and old times video games (Wonderful memories). I had the opportunity to watch the movie at El Capitan Theater (Hollywood, CA) and I can tell you that my son thinks that it is one of the best movies ever. The magic of 3D allows little kids to feel part of the movie and "feel" all the emotions. With a wonderful message of accepting who you are and being proud of what you do, the movie will soon be one of your favorites. Halloween, spooky Halloween!....
This year my family Halloween celebration was great. We got together with family and friends to have a little fun and also to pass out candy.
Thanks to @getunreal we were able to pass out candy without junk. That made me feel good. We had non-food candy for those with allergies, or that maybe wanted a toy instead. But for candy we gave away the Unreal Candy.
It was a success. Kids were all about asking questions about the new candy and they really liked it.

I had the opportunity to get some products to throw a RSVParty with the website vocalpoint.com I was provided with all the tools for the party such as free sample products, game ideas, coupons to give out to my guests and so more. I was also given a gift card to buy party supplies. Since I was going to be busy being the host, I assigned one of my guests to take all the pictures and unfortunately she lost her phone before being able to send me the pictures, so I only have the picture of the set up for the party with the amazing products provided to me. I can tell you we had so much fun with the Icebreaker game and my guest enjoyed the food and the presentation about the products. Now, as the products goes, I have to say that my husband loves his razor. He usually does not like disposable razors because they irritate his skin, but with this razor, he has been irritation free and he has been able to reduce the shaving frequency. Gillette Fusion ProGlide Razor is highly recommended by my husband and also the moisturizer and Shave prep as well. I tried the Herbal Essences Shampoo and Conditioner and I love the smell and how shinny my hair is looking these days. We have always been fans of Crest toothpaste and toothbrushes. Our mouth feels really fresh after using them. A new product for me was the Covergirl NatureLuxe Gloss Balm Luxury touched by Nature. I love how my lips feel. Until today, I had heard the name Tommy Torres just once, because he collaborated with one of my favorite artists: Juanes. However I have to admit I was unaware that Tommy Torres was a Puerto Rican singer and songwriter that has collaborated with great artist such as @Ricardo_Arjona @Juanes and @aliciakeys Besides, his talent, I also have to admit he has good looks… This year on June 12, Tommy Torres held a Twit cam to promote his new single “Querido Tommy”. The song was a suggestion from one of Torres’ fans, Paco that asked him on twitter to help him profess his love to a girl. (As an update, Paco has since, closed his twitter account and Tommy Torres does not know if his advice was effective).
The song is written in a very plain language and the video is very well designed. Different to almost every song video lately that seems to be really extravagant; his video is of very high quality and very appealing to the eyes but it is also a down to earth video that express the real meaning of the song.

According to their website Shellac™, is a UV cured ‘hybrid’ nail color that brushes on like polish but holds up like a gel—so its natural, glossy ‘wet look’ finish can last up to 2 weeks without smudging or chipping (and doesn’t require power tools for removal). It’s perfect pre-vacation, pre-honeymoon, or pre-anything. Your dazzling, durable digits will leave you ‘shellac’-shocked! I heard about shellac the first time from the amazing blogger @RobynsWorld and I got interested about the concept of a manicure that was going to last for 2 weeks without chipping. I love having manicures and pedicures done. It is the treat I give myself every two weeks, however the color on my manicure always gets chipped two days after and I have to apply a clear polish at home until it is time to go again, or stop just for a color change which increases the cost quite a bit. I found some local places that offered the service and I decided to try it out. I had a normal pedicure, which felt great as usual, however the process for the manicure was different to what I am used to. The initial process was the same, soaking hands on warm water, excess of cuticle removal, hand massage, oil warm towel and nail buffering. What happened next was different. The manicurist paid close and crucial attention to my cuticles for this manicure removing any excess with cuticle eraser, and she gently removed my cuticles and got each finger as clean and neat as could be. Apparently prepping the nails is essential in the process. Then she applied a Shellac base coat and asked me to put the hands under a UV light to cure the polish. Each hand goes under the lamp for45 seconds. Then she applied the Shellac UV color. I choose the French manicure. She applied the pink shade, hands under the lamp, then white tips, hands under the lamp, and then another coat of pink and hands under the lamp. The final step is application of top coat and hands under the lamp. Then what happens is unbelievable: the manicurist gets a cotton ball with alcohol to remove the top film and polish the nails to a mirror shine. I could not believe she was going to touch my just painted nails with cotton ball, but the polish stayed and my hands were completely DRY!! Yes, dry! You can take money out of your wallet to pay, and get in your car and drive away... No chips, no dings, nada. I usually chip my manicure while getting in the car, and I never get a French manicure because I know that when I do dishes that night the polish is going to get peeled, but I am really happy. I have been shopping, playing, cleaning, doing dishes and my nails are perfect. The Shellac manicure looks and feels just like regular nail polish, not thick and heavy like gels or acrylics The procedure costs about $30 to 45 in my area (Ventura, CA) -not so much more than a nice manicure! There are still a limited number of colors Shellac; however the shellac color doesn’t stop at just the color you see on the bottle. Layering makes ALL the difference and you can create more colors. For removal they recommend the Shellac nail polish remover wraps that help you remove the color yourself with their special nail wraps and 99% acetone – but according to the manicurist Shellac SHOULD be removed by a nail professional in a salon for the best results. I will write a blog update in two weeks to let you know how long it lasted and about the removal process.
